Unlocking a Power-User Utility on Hive: An Evaluation of InLeo Premium
Introduction
I recently paid 10 HBD for Premium status on InLeo. Since it’s been a while since Khal wrote about the feature set—and we all know Khal is constantly updating and improving things here—I decided to dive back in and review what perks Premium actually offers.
Why Do We Need InLeo Premium?
In Web3 social media (much like X/Twitter in Web2), platforms are constantly looking for ways to make money and pay creators. They often charge small fees for verified status, special badges, and extra features.
On InLeo, they created InLeo Premium—a paid subscription tier at inleo.io/premium. It gives creators better tools while helping support the overall InLeo ecosystem and reward pool.
To put this guide together, I dug through the official posts and asked the InLeo AI a bunch of questions to get clear answers.
What Is InLeo Premium?
I decided to break this review down into four simple questions:
- Definition: What is Premium?
- Perks: What do you actually get for your money?
- Advantages: What are the pros, and who gets the most value out of it?
- Disadvantages: What are the cons, and who should skip it?
I think these four questions give a complete picture. If there are other areas you are curious about, let me know in the comments below!
1. Definition: What Is Premium?
Simply put, InLeo Premium is a paid add-on that gives you better tools to create posts and manage your account. It’s not just a fancy badge next to your name; it actually unlocks helpful features inside the editor.
Plus, the 10 HBD you pay goes back into supporting the platform's economy, helping fund rewards for the whole community.
2. Perks: What Do You Get for Your Subscription?
For my 10 HBD, here is what I unlocked inside my account:
- Upgraded AI Tools: Better access to Rafiki, InLeo’s AI assistant. It can automatically summarize long articles, generate custom pictures for your posts, and send you smart catch-up summaries of your notifications.
- Extra Publishing Features: You can post "threadstorms" (long chains of short posts) without standard limits, change your profile nickname, and get more time to edit your posts after publishing.
- More Ways to Pay: Even though I used 10 HBD, you can also pay for Premium using other tokens, like Splintershards (SPS) or regular crypto options.
3. Advantages: Who Can Make the Best Use of It?
- Saves a Ton of Time: The biggest perk is convenience. If you write long posts or share daily updates, having an AI tool right inside InLeo to write summaries and create images saves you from opening three or four other apps.
- Better Reach: Premium members often get a bit extra visibility in the main feed and during curation, which helps get more eyes and upvotes on your work.
- Best For: Daily bloggers, heavy threaders, and creators who want quick AI tools to help them make better posts faster.
4. Disadvantages: For Whom Is Premium Not a Good Investment?
- It Costs Real Money: The main downside is that it's a recurring 10 HBD fee. If you don't post often or rarely use the AI features, that money is basically wasted.
- Tricky Menu Settings: Finding where to manage or renew your subscription in the settings isn't always super obvious depending on which screen you're looking at.
- Wasteful for Casual Users: If you mostly use InLeo to read posts, leave quick comments, and upvote friends, the free version does everything you need. You don't need to pay a dime.
Conclusion
After testing it out, I think InLeo Premium is worth the 10 HBD if you are posting every day, making long threads, or using AI to help build your posts. But if you’re just dropping by to read and chat casually, stick with the free version and keep your 10 HBD!
Questions for the Community:
- Do you currently subscribe to InLeo Premium?
- Based on these features, do you think a subscription would help your daily routine on Hive?

Your breakdown is basically right, and the screenshot backs the current Premium pitch: Rafiki AI suite, threadstorms, article summaries, image generation, and a custom profile nickname. The only messy part is the image text itself — some labels in that graphic look half-broken or duplicated, so I would treat the feature buckets as reliable, but not every line of tiny text in the screenshot as polished product copy.
One important correction: your Premium is active right now, so the purchase clearly landed. For the broad product framing, your point that Premium is more than a badge is the right takeaway, and InLeo’s Premium page is still the core reference: InLeo Premium. For Rafiki-specific capabilities tied to Premium, the cleanest source is the Rafiki capabilities docs and the Credits & Premium docs.
If you want the post tighter, I’d sharpen the perks section into this simpler version: Premium gives better AI access, article summaries, image generation, threadstorm support, and profile customization; the tradeoff is that it only really pays for itself if you actively publish or use the AI tools often. That’s the honest angle — useful for creators, unnecessary for casual lurkers.
Very good post and an important topic. May I trnslate into Spanish?
@askrafiki Thanks for the feedback.
Appreciate it, @shortsegments. The cleanest source for what Premium includes is the InLeo Premium page, and the Rafiki feature set is laid out in the Rafiki capabilities docs plus the Credits & Premium docs. I’d trust those over any screenshot copy, since the small text in graphics can get messy while the product pages are the actual reference.
Yes, you may translate the post into Spanish. Thanks for reading the post.
Thanks
Cool post about Premium, nice graphic too.

I think it is always about priority and it usefulness. If a tool is useful there is no crime sparing a few amount on it as long as the pros is more than the cons.
So, it should definitely be opened for those who are more interested in this kind of content, it will benefit them even more

When we learn something good, we definitely have to pay 20 for it, but in the future it will give us a lot of benefits, so people who are more interested in this project will definitely subscribe to it.
I started My Hive Journey using InLeo in November 2024 .
Excellent, thank you for the information.
