im so overwhelmed
In less then 6 days the moving container shows up and im not ready for it.
In less then a month i will be disconected from eletronics, im so overwhelmed.
2-3 months in an rv moving across country.
I am not ready for this..................

Far out! Its good to do the big jump. In my twenties i lived in bay ridge brooklyn for a half year and a year in green lake seattle It was good for me.

Why are you doing it that way and not just driving straight there? I mean, the 2-3 month RV trip could be awesome, but only if you want to. Definitely gonna miss you here, why no electronics on your trip? Like not even a mobile phone?
Ive moved my whole life, its like every 4 years i move.
cali to new your, ny to nj, nj back to cali, cali to hawaii, hawaii to las vegas, then washington, back to vegas then its finally travel time.
i hope.

i got so much stuff to get rid of, its (i hate to keep using the same word) overwhelming.
in a couple days everything might just end up on the curb with a free sign.

Honstly i like washington better then the vegas desert but thats where alot of my family is and cant get back the time lost with family ect.......

I been slowly getting ready for the move for a while, its just coming up on go time quick.

Im just losing my mind trying to figure what to keep as 90% of what i own im getting rid of.
Trying to convert to the simple life.
After the rv move to vegas ima try and build a micro camper and travel around but im not to that point yet.

Yes. I know that. I do it every day, it's not easy ..
its all cause timing, the shipping container leaves after a month then 3 days later the car is shipped. at that point start driving to vegas and the relitor chick takes over on the house. the houses in our neighbrohood have been selling fast like in under a week so hopefully when we leave the house goes quick. on the way i plan on stopping in on my grandmother cause i havent seen her in a couple years and she doesnt have much time left. then hit vegas where there is already a spot reserved at the rv park on the strip. once we get there and the house is sold the realitor in vegas (sister of the chick doing the house for us out here in washington) should have a couple house already lined up then its choosing one and having the container shipped and unpacking ect.
as for why no eletronics and internet and stuff, i use a desktop and room in the rv is limited as it is, aslo my phone is an old donated iphone 4 that doesnt have service, i just use the wifi and an app for my phone number ect. im shipping my puter and my phone i see as useless unless im somewhere with free wifi and i honstly dont see myself with even 5 min to sit down once the container shows up.
once in vegas ill prolly have time to sit down at a starbucks or something but i wont have my puter and my phone is junk, kinda scrd of logging into steemit on a public box even if i only use my posting key. might just be better to wait till everything is done and i can saftely get on steemit.
I have come across soooooo many things i wanted to post but i didnt have the time so i just shoved them in boxes and after the move hopefully ill unpack them and get to post them. i havent unpacked fully in about 15yrs, so much saved art i forgot about and it was so awesome to uncover it, repacking it kinda sux though. lotsa old glass blown stuff i did, couple books of writings from when i was in the hospital after geting beat half to death for over a year and just all kinds of steincels from graff and on and on..... lol
ok i ranted enought i think, sry for running with your ear.

The post kind of blindsided me. I hope I am not being presumptuous but good to know that you are moving back to city of your family.

Getting rid of stuff is difficult for me. So I just do a major clearance operation on my possessions almost once a year. Kind of harsh but saves me a ton of trouble for later when I move.

Wow. AmZing amount of travel!!! Letting go of stuff is difficult for sure but its better to be able to. I certainly have moved towards the feeling that less is more. The things that matter these days are within the ipad. And i feel like as a creative artist i dont need all the old trappings of musical gear like i use to. The studio available with an ipad seriously cost more than 10k dollars back in the nineties.

I will be trying not to use the rv toilet at all. ive whitnessed a clogged rv bathroom and i couldnt sit in a sealed box of that smell.
Rest stop and gastation bathrooms till we get to the final destination.

I understand the whole ipad situation, i havent gotten that much into the present time tech wise, i still prefer my hardware to software.
basically what im keeping is old art that i produced throught my life, my computer, my music equipment and clothing. im sure some other little things here and there that have sentememtal value but at this point it feels like a burden carying it all from place to place.
oh some art supplies im keeping too (minimal).
The great thing about 90's music equipment is its cheap af now.
