The grass begins to sway

filtered sun makes them shine
it is bold

A kayak enters the bayou
hoping to catch some rays
slowly paddling
taking in the day

Another water bird
waddling in the banks
searching for food
bayou is a fish tank

The mist burns off
as the sun filters through
another beautiful morning
as life is renewed
