THE GIFT (BOXING DAY)

If life is a gift, did Adam wake up on boxing day?
Is death really a gift being taken away?
Or the tomorrow that must come after all the todays.

My neighbor died today
I saw a wife and a mother cry today
The end of life, I saw a spirit fly away
He was a good man so I asked God why today.
If life is a gift and He giveth n taketh away
Leaving us in sorrow wiping our eyes to pray
Putting ourselves together we can only say
Goodbye, in His Glory u shine as u rest your head to lay.
