LIVING THE DREAM....AFF L4

This was the first time I exited the plane with only one instructor. He let go of me and let me fly once I'd got stable.I was instructed to carry out a several 90 degree left and right turns.

I'd spend some time in the wind tunnel so turning wasn't completely new to me.

You'll notice the instructor showing me the 'V' sign!! This is to tell me to straighten my legs slightly which would stop me drifting backwards.

Once I'd carried out my drills he beckons me towards him so as he can hold on to me to make sure I am stable to deploy my parachute. It would go horribly wrong if i was still turning during deployment!!!
