Interesting platforms and communities on Hive

Hello guys, today I'm gonna write about a few apps and communities on the Hive ecosystem.

BlockTunes

What is BlockTunes? It's a community on the Hive blockchain where you can earn money with your music. The difference between BlockTunes and other music platforms is that you get payed with crypto instead of real money. How does it work? Well literally anybody can earn money on BlockTunes. You create and upload your music, and they send your music to about 30 different music platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Instagram, Facebook and a lot more! Then they collect and convert all the money you earned HBD and distribute it to your Hive wallet. You get almost all of the money you earned with your music! Only 5% of your income goes to BlockTunes which goes to their DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) and that's added to the MUSICtokenandMUSIC token andBTUNES token payouts. I think this is a great idea because after all, music is art too, so it deserves to be treated like art.

TravelFeed

So the second hive platform I picked for today is TravelFeed. Travel feed is a community and blogging platform for people who are excited to share their adventures. It allows people to share their experiences, photos and stories with other people. It's a platform that allows travelers to connect with each other and inspire other people to visit and explore new destinations. Blogging on TravelFeed is fully free, which is amazing, but the best thing is that you can earn money by blogging! You can cross-post to Hive and earn crypto. The earnings are distributed in the form of Hive, which is the native cryptocurrency of the Hive blockchain. Overall, I think TravelFeed is a great platform to travel enthusiasts that want to connect with eachother, share their experiences, and even get rewarded for this.

Waivio

This is the last platform we're gonna talk about today. Waivio is a social media platform where you can earn crypto rewards for your posts. Your account, your content, your funds and your social connections are all recorded on the Hive blockchain, and this information cannot be deleted or changed by any other party. On Waivio, you have full control over your social profile and you can safely develop your social presence without any risk, or threat of being censored or losing acces to your account or your audience. A huge benefit on Waivio is that even a small content creator can get rewarded for his work. There are three ways how you can earn money on Waivio. The first one is by posting. After you create a post, you have 7 days to get as many upvotes or likes as you can. The amount of these likes will determine the amount of income you will earn. The posts in the trending section may earn even hundreds of dollars in a week. After 7 days, half of the earnings will be paid to the author, and half will be paid to the curators. The second way is by upvoting posts on Waivio! The value of your vote is determined by your stake. Let's say that the value of your vote is $0.10. Half of your vote value goes to the author, and the other half goes to you. The only disadvantage is that the number of upvotes you can cast per day is limited. The third way is to earn by completing tasks such as sharing an opinion about a specific product, book or place. These rewards are announced on the Hive blockchain by sponsors.

We're getting close to the end of today, let's just talk a little bit about my personal opinion about the communities and platforms mentioned above. I like all of them, but my favorite is definitely the first one - BlockTunes. I think it's an amazing idea to spread your music in the world, and even get paid for it. I'm excited to see where this community will get in the future.

So that's all for today, I hope I'll see y'all soon. Have a nice day everyone.
