Absolutely Epic - Creating Your Own Electric Micro-Grid
How do you improve solar power and stick it to the Man at the same time? Well, some good folks in Brooklyn seemed to have hacked the system!
The article lays out how some people created a shared economy (peer to peer) electric micro-grid that leverage blockchain technology allowing neighbors to make and accept offers to buy energy using cryptocurrency! Brilliant!

Thanks brother! And I'm digging the free crypto from here too. Maybe I'll hook up a grid of my own. If there's one thing we have plenty of in Nevada, it is sun. Lol!
I seem to have a surplus of wind and no neighbors. The concept is undeniably cool though and people should emulate their success if local laws permit (if it pleases the crown of the state).
Nevada is really big on solar power. And of course we have the Hoover Dam too. Lol. But I see a lot of my neighbors throwing up solar panels lately. I may have to join them!

Well I know if I ever hit the lottery I would build a fortress with my own power source. Lol. Unfortunately Nevada doesn't have a lottery. :( Lol
