The Pile: Because Apparently We Can Throw Hotdogs at Each Other Now

Hello Frenz,

It's been a minute since I've posted, I know, but the work hasn't stopped. As a matter of fact, I've been truly honoring the support I've gotten for my app by giving myself the task of never having a week without progress.

In the spirit of that goal, I wanted to share with you all something very special:

A hotdog made from questionable ingredients.

And before you ask: Yes, you can get them with Snapie Points.

Now, I know that may be confusing to some, but that is because you've not tried Oreos on your hotdog. But fret no more. Or fret not. Maybe you weren't fretting to begin with.

The point is this: Snapie Points are becoming even more fun.

I was sharing with a friend the outline of this idea and ruminating on the mechanics for weeks. You see, upvotes are a thing, currently the only thing, but maybe there are other ways. Other spices we can cook with.

Maybe we can be anonymous too, just for funsies. But this whole thing has to be built in a way that won't allow abusers to jump in either.

I'm calling it:

The Pile.

As of right now, yes, right now, you can throw people hotdogs, cookies, a jalapeño, and a shiny poop.

I think the poop might be my favorite, but use it with caution. It's a kawaii poop, of course.

(I'm not insane.)

But wait.

It gets better.

You can make your own items too.

Wut?

Do you have an idea? Something you'd like to throw at people's Snaps or blog posts? Submit one to the Pile Market.

It costs you 50 Snapie Points to submit an item. If approved, it becomes part of the game.

But wait, there's more.

Other people can purchase your items using Snapie Points. Some of those points get burned, some go to you, the creator of the viral item.

In other words, it pays to be creative, and possibly to be hilarious too.

I'll be adding items, of course, but I'd love to see other folks using their creativity to make this a super fun experience for everyone.
