Legend or Mithril?
What's up steemit family!
As I am fairly new to steemit, and also breaking ground here on the crypto life, I wanted to just add some info here that maybe some of you might know already or might be of interest.
For me the new Blockchain social media platforms are completely replacing the functionality of the "old" ones such as youtube, facebook and instagram. It's such a simple thought and yet so few have discovered or understood it...
TIME = MONEY
What do I mean? Every second of your life that you create content for the "old" social media platforms they are making huge profits AND owning your content. Don't even get me started on Spotify as an artist (criminal).
Fortunately, and thanks to the genius of the collective blockchain brainiacs, that model will be in a few years put to rest. Sounds optimistic right? I stand by it. There is no mathematical way that countries with Trillions of debts can sustain or even dictate the direction of markets. The Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum (I prefer Classic until now) technologies are transparent and we are yet to even discover its hidden potentials.
Transparency = Accountability
Now that last sentence brings me of course to the point of my article. MITHRIL.
LIT? In my search for switching over to a blockchain platform to replace instagram, this is what I found. Once again thanks to the transparency of Blockchain, the token or coin which the LIT service mines was exposed for vote manipulation on Binance.

It creates trust for me that through constant transparency we will all be able to finally create a platform for the digital consciousness of the new era in which our psyche's co-habitate :-)
This of course led me to not invest in Mithril and LIT. So what are your thoughts? Is it a Myth? Know of any Crypto based Instagram replacements?
