Fresh sugarcane
Fresh sugarcane crop @terrafrutis getting ready for juicing at the @amazonfruitfestival
Despite it’s name, sugarcane is much more than ‘sugar water’. It is very rich in vitamins, minerals, and chlorophyll - and actually contains less sugar than orange juice! (But is still so sweet and delicious 🤤)
Have you ever tried fresh sugarcane juice? 😍

It's sold on the streets of Brooklyn, or used to be anyway. I'd stop and buy a stalk just to chew on it. Sooo good.
