Hello Everyone !

Hello every one in the steem community. I am Francisco and this is my #Introduceyourself share post with you. I think we are who we are because of where we were born and live, the first event is not choosen by us, the second, however, we can choose. So i will first introduce my city and in that context, my self. I hope you enjoy it and ill be happy to comment about any ideas or doubts you may have.

First a little bit of culture.

I was born and currently live in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. The second largest city in the country and the most iconic one, some aspects even more in than the country's capital México City. People born in Guadalajara Metropolitan Zone is called "Tapatío" if male or "Tapatía" if female, thats how people from guadalajara is called by other Mexicans, say our demonym/gentilic. We are proud to lived in the city where several of the most iconic elements of Mexico were born.

Some of the histories and cultural icons in México comes from sad situations as a country, some say thats why we are capable of have a lot of festivities and be happy and celebrate life, we

Mariachi

There is the saying that the word mariachi comes from the french word marriage that is also present in the english. Other says it is a much more ancient word, a composition of a type of wood that was used to build the stage where the musicians played. The fact is that today it means "A group of Mexican musicians", and also refers to the music itself.

A popular saying goes like "When a mariachi plays, the world sings". And this in fact true, we have the world guiness record for most mariachis playing at the same time, more than 700 musicians, playing the same songs, and yes, "Guadalajara" have its very own song and was played in this event. Charros

According to wikipedia: Charro is: The Spanish terms vaquero and ranchero (cowboy and rancher) are similar to the charro but different in culture, etiquette, mannerism, clothing, tradition and social status. You can learn and enjoy a bit more about a [Charreada], a famous competition in the region.

Tequila

its been made since the year 1795, in Jalisco state region called Tequila, so we are proud to have it very very close by (40 minutes from metropolitan city). In fact, the word itself, Tequila its what is called an appellation of origin, because it is the name of a small town where it all begin. Here, a nice video about how tequila is made

Interesting, so, what about technology and entrepreneurship ?

Ok Francisco, now you got me dressed like a charro, singing mariachi songs about your city and drinking high quality tequila. Whats next buddy?

Entrepreneurship

Well with that cultural introduction now its turn to some business and tech introduction for my city, (and yeah i will tell you about my self, just laying the foundations here, please stay tunned). Mexico is part of the G20 and is ranked as the 15th economy in the world , according with This Article, Guadalajara is considered a growing tech hub that favors entrepreneurship, often called the Latinamerican Sillicon Valley, more info Here

Tech companies

Tech Giants are looking to move core business operations to guadalajara. In a strategic move, Intell, Oracle and others are looking forward to gain advantage by moving operations to a city with higher skilled work force and increasing education standards, that combined with government incentives and a city where english is very well spoken among medium class level, they just see this as the future.

Culture, Technology, Nice mix.

Well, i am a dwarf standing in the shoulder of giants. In a city with a lot of culture and tech culture i am in very well mood to start my own history. I have an Engineer degree with major in Finance and statistical computing, also made an online specialization in Executive Data Science. My main interests is in blockchain technology, finance and social sciences. Recently looking forward to start my own company related with Machine Learning and BlockChain technologies. I hope many enjoyed the post and i am looking forward to contribute to this great community.
