Okay, i was planning to ruin innocent bananas for you all but i would repent and instead of ruining it i guess we should check out a few outstanding facts about our loved bananas.

1. Humans share about 60% of our DNA with bananas.

2. The scientific name for banana is "musa sapientum" meaning "fruit for wise men!!!" (let's grab a banana)

3. In the 1960s, people started smoking banana peels to get high (i guess the human race went bananas during this period)  

4. Katy perry, Adele, Alicia keys are known to request bananas as one of their backstage demands during performances (i guess even celebrities are allowed to go bananas!)

5. Banana is a berry!!! (weird asf!)

6. More songs have been written about bananas than about any other fruit. (even this post title is a line from a song)

7. Rubbing banana peels on your forehead can relieve headaches (grab me a banana!)

8. Bananas are sterile, although they are often portrayed in sexual ways.
