Introduction Post

Hey there, my name is Spiros and i'm from Greece! I'm new in hive, peakd, 3Speak etc and i always wanted to try something like this. A friend of mine, @knowhow92, introduced me into hive and showed me how easy it is to use and post anything you love and do in your daily life.

Briefly, here is some information about me and my passions.
I just finished my studies on computer science and now i live and work at Ioannina, a small town of Greece. I always admired anything that has to do with three dimensional digital world and that's why i'm interested in 3d design, photogrammetry, 3d animation, game development and ofcourse gaming 😅. I have little or more experience on each one of these fields but i like them all and my posts will be relevant to those.

Here is a portrait of me which i created using photogrammetry via ContextCapture.
I also put armature on it(me) and i created a small animation on Blender 2.8 which i uploaded at @Sketchbook community on 3speak.

Welcome to hive! I’m glad that you’re on here with us, it’s a wonderful place full of lots of great people!

I am hyped that we have another dude on here from Greece! You’re in great hands with your buddy @knowhow92 for sure but if you have questions you can definitely hit me up in a comment or tag and let me know what you need help with!

The best bet for you is to dive right into the ‘communities’ section and explore ones that interest you. I think we have some great digital art ones and lots of technology ones, so you’ll have lots to look at!

One of the things I wanted to do is give you a piece of advice that could make this place awesome for you! Talking with some of the people who have been here for a while, we remember one of the best things we did was find other people’s posts through others or go looking and start commenting meaningful things. If you drop small phrases it won’t get you much attention but if you look at a persons post and leave a great comment, a lot of times they will appreciate it and talk with you. If you continue to do this you will develop a friendship with them and will gain followers and grow your account. This is not an easy and fast process. It takes time but the more effort you put in the more you can be rewarded, with limitations of course.

I just say this in hopes you go out there and really connect with people and grow your account. The more we all do this, the more people will come here to take advantage of such a great place.
