Celebrating 1st anniversary of being loved and in loved

It was January 3, of 2024 when my preparations are turned into appreciation. I woke up as early as 3 AM in the morning just to prepare and continue something that I'm preparing for two weeks. I'm not into fresh flowers. I know that we have difference POV in terms of appreciating things in life. But for me, creating a surprise into a creative one can eventually made him emotional. I didn't really expect that using crepe papers, cartolina, construction papers, stick, and tapes I was able to express a unique bouquet. Not as fresh as real flowers but as colorful and memorable.

From our house, I've picked all the needed gifts and bring those surprises with a smile and excitements. Before I enter the room, I've made a blindfold to him and after that I asked him to untie the handkerchief. As he open his eyes. He was so teary and he can't really imagine hugging a medium size stuffed toy. We named that cute toy as "Spongy". It was his company all the time. He hugged Spongy tightly at night most especially when I'm not around. The mixed emotion of happiness and thankfulness turned into a genuine love.

That time, I wasn't thinking of a return. All I want is to surprise him with my efforts and love. To show how grateful I am that I've met someone who changes my life optimistically. I kissed him on the forehead and whispers "I LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER". That simple surprise builds a meaningful relationship.
