22 June 1994. Colombia defender Andres Escobar lying on the ground after mistakenly score a goal at his goal during a match against the US in the 1994 World Cup. Colombia then lost the game and was eliminated from the world championship. Escobar was killed when he returned to Colombia and widely believed that his assassination was commissioned by drug traffickers for betting purposes.
