My Subaru Blog #1
This is my first post ever, and instead of doing an in-depth introduction of my life and why I'm on Steemit, I've decided to just share photos of work I've done on my car so far.
I purchased my used 2015 Subaru Legacy back in March and wanted to make it "my own".
Project #1 was to add a more hearty exhaust, did that several weeks ago and didn't really take any photos.
For Project #2 I decided to aftermarket speakers and install the amp under the passenger seat. This project was more involved and since I do not have a garage, I spread it out over several sunny (and hot) days.
Day 1: Remove existing speakers and install sound dampening material.
Day 2:
Mount all stereo components and run some wiring.
Took a trip to Home Depot and had them cut a 1/4" piece of plywood to 9" x 13". Spray painted it black because JDM.
Day 3:
Remove passenger seat
Tear apart midcolumn
Add ambient lighting
Rerun speaker wired under carpet
Day 4:
Reinstall seat, adjust amp gains and converter, and test!
