Preparing for the journey ahead

I've recently started my 11th year of education, and upon reaching this point the realization of my position in life, filled me with emotions that could only be described as melancholy. I only have a year and a half of school left before I start university. It's an intimidating thought. However starting coming to terms with the notion of letting your childhood go, and developing your character into the person that you were meant to be, is an arduous task to say the least...but, every cloud has it's silver lining and this is no different. With age comes a whole new world of possibilities, as well as experiences that are waiting to be had. I'm beginning to see that my life is only just starting, and I'm embarking on the adventure with cautious optimism.
