Today was a sports day at our school, because we don't get much of these days, the children absolutely love it. For those of you who don't know, I am teaching at a school for learners with cerebral palsy that means they are mostly physically disabled.

Well as I was saying today every class went outside to watch our boys play soccer against another disabled school. As the children were cheering on our teams and as I watched the boys play I could not help but be so grateful.

I was grateful for being able to teach there and I was grateful that I could see how the boys enjoyed playing even if it was difficult for them.

We take so much for granted in this life, the fact that we can get around without help, we can feed ourselves, we can speak our mind when we need to and so I can go on. They are grateful every moment of the day just for being alive.

Just take 1 minute now and think of all the things you can be grateful for, I did today and realized just how blessed I am.
