Splinterlands had a massive pump today!

As many of you may have noticed, Splinterlands cards had a massive pump in price today!

Now this is most likely caused due to the announcement in the townhall...

They stated that all current reward cards would be removed from the rewards pool when Soul Bound reward cards are released.

So this would mean that the least % of printed cards would be only that much more rare since there would be far less supply, and those cards with the lowest print % have seen the best gains today!

Also with today being the End of Season, and all players were able to get their Season Rewards, we saw a ton of cards go out of print completely as well.

This was almost like a perfect storm to come together like this, because if you take a look at card prices in a post I made a few weeks ago Splinterlands card deals where I talked about how cheap cards seemed to be compared to normal prices.

We saw many Legendary cards hovering around $1...

Also many Gold Foil Legendaries (GFLs) for less than $20!

However, if you take a look at the market now you will see prices are a lot higher now.

In conclusion, not only did we get this massive news today, but @Splinterlands is also still the #1 dApp in the world right now according to DappRadar rankings for not just all blockchain games, but all dApps across every category!!

So, this is a very exciting time in Splinterlands, and with crypto markets looking good over the past week or so, I am definitely happy to be here!
