SteemOffice : Excel dashboard to work with SteemApi Data (looking for feedback)
As Steemit community is growing ,I think tools to analyze the performance of accounts are becoming more necessary
There are already some tools like Steemd,Steemdb,Vessel,etc.. which are helping many steemians to track their accounts, but I think an Excel tool will do much quicker to to work with large amounts of data
SteemOffice is a tool which wants to make easier to work with Steemit Accounts , both by showing meaningful charts to get perspective on the real state of our accounts,and also providing dynamic pivot tables as a source to elaborate analysis

SteemOffice pulls the data from SteemAPI , in this first version the tools is querying Account and Posts information , but eventually can get info of the Network and Market state which also provides the API
You can get the first version of the Excel Macro workbook here it will work in any Windows OS system with any recent MsExcel installed (you need to allow macros to run )
Please feel free to check the Excel , review the code , and give me feedback or any info you would like SteemOffice to pull in the future

This is really good. Have you thought about using Power Query to connect to the datasource and then using Power Pivot and DAX to do a deeper analysis?
Not yet , but I will investigate

Well , yes I need a lot of help :) , and you look quite an expert on Power Queries
I have worked mainly at calling the apis and processing JSON
But the "front" of the Excel can be definitely improved , maybe Power Querys could be used for it ,how do you see it?
From the other side, to get data from a SQL source I think we would need to use something like :

Can a Power Query pull data from a web api?
yes power query can pull from an api and work with JSON. My problem is that I don't know sql. we should team up on this one.
Microsoft released power BI, which is a combo of Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power View. The interactive reports can be embedded then. So much better than the excel power tools.
The fount end is more power view. Query is for getting the data, Power Pivot is for modeling the data (using DAX functional language for BI) and power view is for visualizing and telling stories with the data
There is also a language behind power query, know as M (not MDX)
