Lost love
The first time I saw your smile
I felt a rush of my bile
It was innocent and sweet
Little did I know it will be swift
How I wish it had lasted longer
Or maybe forever

But fate for us had a different story
Or maybe it played us dirty
For the endless walks
And the senseless talks
Came to a sudden end

When we both learnt we could pretend
And we both started playing games
Later on shifting blames
Our pride got our best
And our love failed the test
Maybe a little patience was all we needed
But our prides were already bloated
We had to go different ways
Hoping that maybe we would have easier days
