Point of View

While they were chatting, law enforcement officer Della came by.  Sassy gathered up her nuts and hightailed it out of there.  Della said to Lolly, "I see you have no tail."

When we learn something about ourselves or the world that changes our point of view, it is not easy to stay with it. Old ruts in our thinking make it easy to slide back into the prior thinking.   There must be a constant,  vigilant effort to make the new information integrate into your world view. 

It does not seem to matter if the information is positive or negative, it is different. From year to year and even from life to life an individuals' thinking changes little. The physical world changes and we see it.  Point of view is not seen and can to a degree be secret from others and ourselves.
