Want

As an adult I got a dvd of a cartoon I used to watch as a kid. The dvd had commentary from the writers so I thought it'd be interesting to have a listen. The writer went on to say that the company that made the action figures of the characters in the cartoon would bring him new action figures and have him write the episodes in order to introduce the newer characters and make them look fun. Looking back on my behavior as a kid, it became clear to me the influence the cartoon had over my behavior. Every time a new action figure came out I would ask my parents to get it for me, and I remember my mother telling me that "as soon as I got it I would just want something else".

Honestly as an adult I'm not much different. As soon as I get what it is that I want I come up with some new goal and forget all about the thing I just worked so hard to get....just something to think about when growing your crypto collections...
