Introducing my blog!

Unlike most other blogs out there I'm not writing to entertain you, rather I am writing to help myself. I hope for this blog to help me think clearer, to be able to better gather and organise my thoughts. If along the way a few of you happen to enjoy my blog and learn or gain something from it, that will be a bonus and something I will be very grateful for.
Now, I don't consider myself to be a good writer but bare with me and with practice I will hopefully improve.

OK so here goes...

I would consider myself to have had a relatively 'normal' upbringing. I thought I would go to university, complete my degree, get a well paid job and have a family. However now the prospect of this becoming my reality has become the thing that scares me the most. I've since taken the unpopular decision to take a year out of my studies and spend some time travelling the world and exploring new interests.

I want my steemit to consist of a few series of blogs:

Thoughts - Where I delve into an interesting topic (perhaps something I came across on the internet/books or just a random topic I've been thinking of).
Travels - Where I share some insight into my experiences as I travel the world.
I don't know yet.

Any other ideas would be welcome, and please don't hesitate to give some constructive criticism.
