This is a very confusing topic for me. When I was younger, I would have never considered being with someone that stepped out on me. But as I got older & life went on, I found myself in a situation that made me decide to go in a totally opposite direction of what I once believed.

While infidelity is usually a bad thing, it also could be a good thing for some relationships. I believe you have to look at all involved with the situation & how bad it is.

What Is Infidelity?

Infidelity is when two people are in a committed relationship & one or both goes outside of the relationship to be with another in a romantic way. This relationship does not have to be sexual but of course if it does it makes things even worse.


Would You Stay

Ordinarily, I would not. However, some years ago my husband stepped out on me with a younger girl. He started doing things that he ordinarily wouldn’t. I had a bad reaction & even acted out by going after the woman. According to my husband, there was no sexual component to this affair.

After this happened, there was a point where my husband wanted to get a divorce. There were other factors to consider, like he had just stop drinking. He was an alcoholic most of his life. His mind was working differently.

I don’t believe in divorce, so I told him he was stuck with me for life. I also told him that he better straighten up & if he left, I would make his life a living hell. Well I stayed and here we are 12 years later & things couldn’t be better.
