No doubt, in the beginning days of steem it was all about that power.  In some ways it still is, but with the blessing of this sacred feed we now have everything we need to start our journey to riches.  The devs gave us the almighty popularity system that works like  alignment.  The more evil and trolly you are the more negative your popularity.  I for one love the new feed system and can't wait to give all my friends all the upvotea they deserve!
