No pain, no gain!
Since the Chaos Legion cards are out, i'm struggling within the Silver league. It is much harder to climb the ladder. I did not figure it out yet, why my performance dropped, but the new meta is much more interesting than it was before. However it's worth to struggle while the quest rewards are better than before.
This was my 3rd Gold reward cards within Silver III during the last 2 weeks. Two of them common, one rare. Comparing to the previous rewards i received i have to say it's much better than it was.
Do you experienced increased value within the quest chests lately?

Since the value of the Splinter cards are dropping nowadays, this is a good move from the developers. I did not expected it, but I am happy for it. Maybe it is pre-programmed into the game. I do not know. Either way, I still do not sell my Splinterlands cards, and I keep playing Splinterlands.
By the way, today I also received a Pelacor Bandit card, but not a gold foil, like you. Congratulations for that.
Seeing the increased amount of cards in the quest rewards, it indeed feels like that it is 2018 again. There was a card in every reward chest in that time.

Whatever is the actual value of the cards for me what matters is the CP my collection worth, and this way that is increasing with a fair amount weak to weak. The rewards might be matter of the game marketcap, but in my opinion its driven by the active userbase, since that is decreasing. I hope its because of less active bots, but i dont know any details regarding this “issue”.
