Did you manage to find out what are the glassware used for? ......check my previous posting if you have not read it....

Note: The photographs were taken at a private museum of a Straits-born wealthy Chinese family home.....

These were Victorian Epergne (pronounced as E-purn) - the base were used to hold fruits or sweet meats to serve guests and the trumpets were used to place flowers.

These beautiful glass decorative pieces were only used by the family to serve their British guests in their specially-designed dining room in the early years.
