The Sandbox Capsules

Hola Feel Good Community, how are you all doing today, so I found this community as one that accepts mobile photography so I decided to post this one here.
This is the Sand box capsule, from the Sand box tree.
This seed has been sitting in the yard of my learning centre, it's has always fallen and make really loud noise when it drops.
It caught my attention when an elderly man walked to me and asked if I knew the name of the seed or tree , I said No. He also asked if I knew if it was edible I said I don't know, I asked him what it is used for and he said " I just come here to pick them for my boss, she's a lecturer in fine arts and she uses them for her design, that's all I know about".

While scrolling through my gallery I found this image and decided to use Google lens for it , I realized that it's a Sand box tree , also know as The No Monkey Climb, due to the thorns on the body of the tree.

Thank to Google Lens I know what this strange looking shaped botanical object is.

It's really amazing to see nature in different shapes.
The Fruit is not edible, but the tree is a good form of shade from the sun and small rains

What a striking fruit! How interesting to learn that an artist uses it as a model for her designs.
