Minnow boosting progress in 2022

2022 was a tough year in various ways. Apart from COVID, freak weather and senseless wars we had crypto scandals, frauds and hacks reducing confidence. Despite this we saw some improvements in people powering up their Hive accounts.

This is where we stand right now. Getting to 10,000 minnows does not seem too impossible.

Looking back over the last couple of years is interesting. We have gained around a million accounts in that time. I suspect a lot of those were just for @splinterlands with many of them never doing anything on the social side and so not accumulating HP. We are getting back to how many minnows we had then. I suspect some people left after the big fork. We still have some catching up to do, but you can see the major improvements in the last year apart from losing a couple of whales. Big investors may need to shift their funds to maintain an income.

This account will continue to support small accounts with automated votes via Hive Vote. Some kind people have delegated to help with that. We would suggest you follow the voting trail if you want to support our efforts so you earn from curation. It is not important for this account to be accumulating HP, although it is well on the way to being a dolphin.

The list of accounts supported will be reviewed periodically. You are welcome to suggest candidates. They need to be posting good content, be engaging with comments and not powering down.

• Orca: 55658 HP
• Whale: 556578 HP
