Health Through Obedience

There is health in obedience to God's laws, either moral or spiritual. The Bible reveals that those who keep God's moral and ethical laws will be rewarded with long life, security and self control. There are conditions to be observed by all who would preserved health, but God leaves the decisions up for us. He gave us free will.

Some illnesses are a direct result of life's violation of natural or moral law. If we overeat, for example, that is our choice, it is not God's will for us to be fat and die young of a heart attack. It is the result of our actions that we freely chose.

The downside of all this is, we are responsible for the choices we make in our lives.
