Flesh
Struggles with my flesh's desire
I feel drowned in wanting to satisfy my desires,
I feel bad for derailing,
I plead for mercy
I plead for renewed self-discipline
I plead for strength and grace
I plead for divine focus,
Chastity and virtues.
I don't want to get trampled in sin,
I want to live for God,
I want to satisfy His Spirit in me, not my flesh,
I want to be picked up and washed clean again.
I know you are there for me.
Amen.
