Separate your topics - please

I don't write too much here (or anywhere else), but I read a lot. And I'm seeing a pattern on leofinance, which I don't really like. Yes, there are awesome writers, way better than myself, but even they make this mistake.

Please write about one thing, or a few related things in a single post

I open a post because it has got a catchy title, only to discover that the title is relevant only for a few lines from the post. After that the author speaks about his/her vacation or something totally irrelevant in said post.

I'm not saying that you can't speak about these things, all I'm saying is that those are two or more separate posts.

If you separate your topcis, the audience can select the ones they are interested in. You will receive better rewards, because of better targeting. Search engines can't find out your intentions if you have multiple topics in one post, so you earn a much worse ranking in the search results page.

If you have more topic to talk about, let them be in separate posts

Everybody wins if you write with this rule in mind.
