The Ocean - Original poem

The Ocean

The ocean steps upon the sand
its feet against the shore.
The deep blue spans through coastal void
so separate nevermore..

The ocean steps where others tread;
their marks are washed away.
All that steps, that lives, that bled
is lost beneath the spray..

Time moves on, the marks are lost;
the ocean still remains..
And so it steps upon the shore
and washes off the stains.
