Too Big for Me..
Patiently waiting for a sole.
Not taking a step.
Resting there they wait.
They don't take much space in the room.
They fill it all the same.
Taken out the room is empty.
There is just not enough to fill them.
The one who did has gone away.
Where he is gone he is going to stay.
Memories of the miles I will never walk.
The burdens they carried.
The responsibilities, never shied.
Those shoes I would never try to fill.
But from them gather will.
