Yes it seems I already have a few besties. My sense of humor coupled with brutal facts are a heavy load to endure I suppose.
Meh, just another day in the hive.
Most folks will leave you alone if you leave them alone, and just know that them leaving you alone means blacklisting you on their secret, or public, blacklists.
Some of them get together and discuss it, others just know who to follow.
They come out and tell some people that they will never earn rewards here, and they prove it to some, too.
If you put out 'good' content you can overcome this early kicking of the nest, imo.
I've seen people come back from much lower reps having done spammy things.
It would be great to earn some rewards, but I mostly am just here because I do not want to have to worry about my posts being deleted. I can get downvoted to oblivion and my posts may be harder to view, but I can trust that they will continue to be on-chain. This alone is huge and I hope that many people who are currently dealing with censorship issues will realize that they can do as they wish here on Hive.
Yes, it is true.
It is very difficult to hide posts.
Rewards is the whole point, iyam.
Having my data on the chain gives the chain 'value'.
Only crapitalism says that I should be grateful for making somebody else rich.
At least here we get a chance to argue about the value of our contributions.
All those other platforms just keep the money the c_a pays them for getting us to give up our data 'for free'.
I will continue to post with or without rewards.. but hell yes I’d be fucking psyched if I actually was rewarded for all of my work. I’m just used to being broke and not compensated for my efforts. I had to find a way to be happy this long ago when I had no other option.
