our journey toward . . .

hello there,

it's been a while since my last post! I've been having difficult times at work, and, it took me awhile to get back to, what I consider to be, a better version of "normality".

normality, naturally, is not uniform. considering our day-to-day lives, even the idea of it feels, something unrealistic to think about... so I think- we are generally happy with a relatively okay version of normality which has the scope for toleration and patience in it.

when it comes to tolerating the un-ideal situations at our work-lives, it seems that we often don't realise the fact: what we are trying to tolerate is or has become something, beyond that normality. they've already passed to the dark-side and they're slowly dragging us with them. the example of the slowly boiling frog in a pan is suitable here.

boiling employees in pan, boiling all the way to the dark-side. now. that's quite abnormal . . . something to think about . . . but we shouldn't really be worrying about all of these! we don't really have the time to think about these . . . we don't really have the energy or the will . . . anyway.

we've probably also made-believe by our "superiors" that it's us... the un-ideal situations are caused because of our failure.

in that state-of-psychology, it seems not easy to 'get up, stand up. stand up for your rights.'

the fellow victims of long-term mobbing, get up-stand up-and take a step out of whatever the no-air environment you are in . . . you are very tolerating, you are very patient, you've been working hard and always been a good-employee, took responsibility and delivered good work. you are intelligent but you are trapped. you've become the boiling frog . . . it's time to jump out.

and so I quit my job . . . learnt my lessons and future seems brighter than before. I am not surprised.
