Have a Tea and a Toke

Because who doesn't need a little humor in their life, and good friends to enjoy it with, good tea (whatever that means to you), and good smoke! Morgan Freeman likes the weed. Enjoy the rhymes! 

I like a good tea and a toke.

I savor the flavor of its flowery smoke.

   Pack it in a bowl, pack it in a bong.

   Roll it in a joint, you can’t go wrong.

Had a bad day, nothing went your way?

Well, have a little tea and a toke.

   Your mood will certainly change.

   Your head’ll feel a little strange.

   Your thoughts’ll be re-arranged.

   Oh, but don’t worry, it’s nothing deranged.

So, pop a squat and have a tea and a toke.

   Feel the calm rush over you?

   Yes, that’s right, kick off that shoe,

and while you’re at it, kick off the other.

Because brother, oh brother, we got the mother of 

sticky strawberry smoke.

   …Or, maybe it’s Sister Sue I’m talking to-writing to.

   Because, green is green, 

   no matter who you are or what you do.

To be ashamed to enjoy this is certainly silly.

So, I’ll follow the lead of that legend named Willy.

I’ll sit at my table, and you’ll come along.

Together we’ll sing song after song.

We’ll be drinking our tea and having a toke.

Because laughter’s always found in the clouds of smoke!
