Yet Again, Lost In Time

I am trying to understand this poem and been reading it all repeatedly. But I guess this poem talks about time, unity, freedom, regret, and regaining power. They consider how their ideas have faded into the past and are no longer genuinely theirs. Except for the idea that they have never truly been free, they are aware of the lack of freedom in their life. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Nothing indeed is free except our thoughts. Maybe at the end of everything, we realize all we ever have is our thoughts, the rest are things we pay for one way

Yes, I believe you're pretty close. Let me give you a bit of a breakdown below:

'Yet again, lost in time…my very thought, was never mine.'

This refers to how relevant time is to us, but not necessarily so for other powers in this universe, which then flows into the possibility that our own thoughts may not even belong to us.

'In unity, we see, in life, we be…'

We live our lives according to what we see.

'Nothing is free, accept and except the thought, of never truly being free.'

A slightly different approach to the 1st paragraph, where 'accept' refers to accepting we're not free to have our own thoughts, or 'except' meaning we are. We just don't truly know. What we do know though, is that every action has an effect, so nothing is truly free.

'Humbly embrace, that chaos case,and pack your bag, for another race.'

Refers to the chaos of life and sometimes you need to start over again.

'The closer of the deal. Left with, without zeal.'

*A 'win' doesn't always make you feel fulfilled. Like closing a great sale, can still leave you feeling empty, or it could make you feel fulfilled. *

'It's the deepest regret, you cannot forget, remembering to feel.'

It can be detrimental being unemotional, to the point of destroying yourself.

'Talking in code, within the abode, where all the light has been shut out. A deliberate deliberation, since every calculation, has a percentage of fault.'

This refers to 3 points. When I wrote it, I was stuck in a dark place, and while writing I shut out everything around me, hence all the light has been shut out. Code refers to the fact that everything is based in math and even math has a percentage of fault. I tried to be as deliberate as possible when writing it, so there the deliberate deliberation comes in.

'It's in the darkness, where the deepest heart is, breaking free for your soul, where we regain control.'

This refers to when we can be completely honest with ourselves, without fear or prejudice from anyone else. That's when we feel the sense of absolute freedom.

My mind is a mess, I know

Wow -I love your poem and that you are back on Hive. I read it twice - there is a lot being said. I hope I get it - but indeed whatis freedom - even our thoughts are influence. I think duration meditations it is possible to think and feel. Cutting out someof the noise of society might also allow us to "be."

Meditation isn't something I've actually ever tried, but the way life goes sometimes, perhaps it's a good idea to start.
