Questions about steemit!
Hello all, I've been on steemit for just over a week now and while I've gotten a handle on most things on here, there are just a few questions that I have about things I'm still unsure of. My first question is what exactly is "delegation" under steem power and what causes that number to fluctuate? Secondly, I know SBD stands for Steem Based Dollars, but how exactly do they work? What's their actual value?

From what I understand, your delegation is a "loan" of Steem Power from Steemit to help new users get established.

That's Correct
If you upvotes 50/50 on yourself, you will be getting SBD. The value fluctuated.
SBD can be swap to steems and vice versa.
I keep both. Check the internal market.
