Silver / Gold lot on the way!
I was just browsing for some new silver
While not looking for anything in particular, I decided to check the auctions for funsies. I once had a good bid and won it with 2 ounces of silver from Malta, which I still think are true gems in my collection. Although not logged into the site forever, I thought this might be a good way to possibly find something unique and maybe even for a nice price.
As if it was meant to be
A coin auction was going on and items were just closing so I logged in at the right time, with the items I thought were worth looking at or maybe even bidding at only minutes on the clock! I was more looking for a lot rather than just one coin because this way I could possibly find something interesting I'd normally not buy or even look at. I like these little treasure hunts.
I checked the sellers rating and the shipping was only 9 euros, as it was shipped from within Spain, which is great because sometimes a price seems too good to be true and then you suddenly notice a shiping fee of 80 euros or so because it comes from the other side of the world (I happen to spot one just in time today as well). I didn't have time to look into the pieces and their actual value so I'm taking a little risk but sometimes it's also nice to treat yourself with something even if you overpaid a bit, right?
Especially considering the fact that I have not bought for several months, while I was aiming to do monthly buys. The higher prices made me lose interest for a bit, especially while focussing on the health issues. Right now I felt I deserved a little treat and bought a lot. I'm not going to spoil what's inside yet but I can tell you I will have my first very tiny piece of gold soon as well!
It's very very tiny but it feels great to finally have a first little piece of gold in the near future! I'm very excited and hope it ships fast, I already paid it right after auction so we'll see how fast it arrives.

It's one of my favourites!
We honestly did not celebrate Easter, we were planning on finally watching one of the processions here as we now live in another area, but did not make it because my boyfriend had to work long hours and only has today off.
In Holland, Easter Monday is the day off, here it's a school day again (in Andalusia at least) so it's just enjoying not having to work today for him, while he took the baby night shift (he kept him awake, ouch).
Did you celebrate it? I guess next year we will do some Egg hunting along with visiting a procession here as everyone says you HAVE to experience it at least once.

Is it a holiday on Easter Monday as well like it is in Holland?
Here in Spain (at least in Andalusia) all is back to normal today, while the previous week was Semana Santa and lots of things happening. We did not see anything of it, due to work hours we could not, today it's my boyfriend's day off though so he can relax a bit..

I did, in a small way as a member of my local Baptist Fellowship church. Though I was there somewhat late. My single Mom tenant had her Easter egg hunt for her daughter with her schoolmates. Its nice to see the Mom thrive enough to get out the poverty trap our system had become.
