First I would like to start by saying much respect for the people that are still active on Steemit. If you are still a user, while the times are tough, it means you don´t give up that easy and you will be ready for the next bull run.

To respond on all the negative news about Bitcoin, I would like to remind people that in 2008 the value of bitcoin was €0.08. Even though Bitcoin is now on €3.200(only), far away from its all-time €16.727,68, you could have made 4.000.000% return of investment. The best public traded company since 2008 is Amazon. If you would have made the same investment in Amazon since 2008 you would have reached a 1600% return on investment. On the long-term Bitcoin is still a better investment than other opportunities. Past performances don´t guarantee future results, but a >75% drop happened at least 6 times in Bitcoins past. This chart is from 2011-2018.
