Any 3D printing geeks here?
Hello Steemians!
Are there any 3D printer owners out here?
If so, please comment what printer you have, and your latest project! I am hoping to be a part of the 3D Steemit community and follow you guys to keep tabs on your projects to keep my creative juices flowing.
I own a Tevo Tarantula (Not the Black Widow shown above, but similar)
Could Thingiverse be taken over by Steemit?!
I am new to Steemit, and my first thought was: "Steemit could eventually take over Thingiverse."
I mean, how many of you 3D printing/CAD junkies have spent hours on a really cool part, and gotten nothing for it for putting it out for everyone to use freely? If Steemit were to adopt an easy way to upload .stl files, you could in a round about way get credited for your CAD models.
I'm looking forward to hearing what projects you guys are working on, so comment below and I'll follow!

Yooooo this is such an awesome idea! I feel like someone could make an app just like a spin off of Thingiverse, just like how they made DTube off of YouTube! That would be super cool! :)

I already know CAD so maybe someday.

STOPNice, what CAD software do you use? I use Solidworks. I am studying Mechanical Engineering so I have a student license that I can use while in school.
You should really think about getting one though, it is tons of fun. Follow me to see some of my future DIY projects!
