Nail Your First Impression on 3Speak!

This video is my channel trailer, and you can upload your own now too. Just activate the checkbox and the video will auto-play when people browse your profile page. Use the feature however you like: put your most recent video in a prominent spot, or (the way it's actually intended) set up a real channel trailer for people who find you for the first time. Only the last video marked as channel trailer gets placed prominently, so you can always swap it out for a newer version.
Shipped together with this, the profile page got some nice upgrades, visually but also content wise. On the overview page you now see videos, shorts, audio, community snaps and playlists. I could imagine adding a handful of settings and options in the future. Let me know your ideas!
Two more things you might have missed: when you click your avatar or the "edit" button, you can update all of your details.
And the "message" button is more prominent now, because there are still a lot of users who don't know that we have a chat on snapie.io and 3speak.tv sharing the same database. You can even send a video link to someone from the watch page. Did you know that?
Soon we're going to release streaming and something else that is still very secret. After that I want to tackle gamification on 3Speak, but right now that only exists as a rough draft in my head.
Oh, and greetings from the Möhnesee, where I'm camping with some friends and of course took some "work" with me (aka video editing, lol). I didn't want to sit on this one for too long, because otherwise I would have jumped straight into the next coding adventure after our trip without telling you about any of this.

Thank youuu <3 yes we made some crazy progress in the past few weeks and there are many more things planned already thehe
The main big goal behind all of the progress is to reach a level that web2 mainstream users are comfy with. Every night I have at least 1 "new idea" that is not new on common web2 platforms. A video platform without user playlists is weird to just give you one example - same goes for channel trailers, a discover algorithm, old content getting pushed, automatic subtitles and all these things. One big thing we will probably need some good amount of caffeine and smart ideas for is pay-per-view. That's an important tool for long-term user retention and that split Hive in general from the common "payment" model of web2. We will get there with some smart contract probably - we'll see :)
I'm sure we will, in fact the front end looks so clean now I was shocked not to see a video of mine on there....even though I have many video on web2
Once I am fully back from my intense routine that's were the first video will be posted :D

If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
Everyone already knows I only post my own original content I have no need to steal anything from anyone

We all know that crypto is a real alternative with real-life impact and when Hive gets back up we have something to offer.
