Fast Car

Hello hivers! It’s been a while since I posted my last blog. I missed this kind of thing as I indulge my time in my craft as a teacher.

Anyway, I’m not going to talk about teaching in this new blog. Today, I’m gonna shift to my nature that is Music.

As we traveled back to Bogo City to celebrate my first Born’s birthday, we went to Saint Vincent Parish Church to give thanks for our family’s life blessings especially to the birthday celebrant, I stumbled upon my soundtrack while the children were playing in the plaza.

This is our kind of birthday celebration

At first I thought the song was just about driving cars and the enjoyment of riding. However, it is very deep and kinda’ struck me the most.
For me it’s all about survival of life’s struggles and hoping for the better days ahead in the middle of economic difficulties and finding the source of income for family’s needs. Rooting on the chorus, I feel more emotionally attached to the ones I love and say to myself “let’s go on with life”. We just need to keep driving our own cars, leave tonight or live and die this way. It’s our own will to be free of doing what’s best for life.
