I WILL SEND YOU BEHIND THE WIND

Hello dear friends of Hive, today I show you my new work inspired by the sea and the wind. The wind
that blows hard and makes my boat slide on the water very fast,looking for strong emotions.

Ciao cari amici di Hive, oggi vi mostro il mio nuovo lavoro ispirato al mare e al vento. Il vento
che soffia forte e fa scivolare velocissima la mia barca sull'acqua, in cerca di forti emozioni.

I made this work using acrylic colors, collage of fabrics and embroideries,

Ho realizzato questo lavoro utilizzando colori acrilici,

then I wrote a phrase from Giacomo Leopardi' poem "L'Infinito" on the sail
"and shipwrecking in this sea is sweet to me"
and in the other sail a passage taken from the Odyssey by Omero. Episode of Odysseus and Calypso who holds the hero prisoner on the island of Ogygia but Hermes invites Calypso to help Odysseus resume his journey.
"i will send you behind the wind because unharmed you will arrive at the land of the fathers"

collage di stoffe e ricami, poi ho scritto sulla vela una frase della poesia "L'Infinito" di Giacomo Leopardi
"e naufragar m'è dolce in questo mare"
nell'altra vela un brano tratto dall'Odissea di Omero. Episodio di Odisseo e Calipso la quale tiene l'eroe prigioniero sull'isola di Ogigia ma Ermes invita Calipso ad aiutare Odisseo a riprendere il suo viaggio.
"ti manderò dietro il vento perchè illeso tu arrivi alla terra dei padri"
