Can Hive Break The Resistances?
How time flies
My last update on Hive is already over 2 months old and I think it's time for a review and outlook. Back then, I argued that Hive could be close to finding a bottom. Although, it was and still is clear that Hive doesn't really have any support on the chart. The hope for a turn around mainly comes from the similarities from the 2020/2021 crash and the resulting pull back up. To me the chart looks like a similar set up. Back then I gave this (rough) outlook:
As of today Hive, along with the entire crypto market, has shown some strength and has in fact bottomed at the 3-4 cents mark (so far!). When we zoom in a bit there are two main resistances which could result in some explosive growth if they are be broken.

In other words the main resistances are in the 4-5 cents range. Hive and most other coins generally show explosive growth once these macro resistances are broken. Both are now close to two years old and the longer price is kept under them, the more volatility generally follows when they are broken.
So far we haven't really seen any real volume spikes, but I would expect that they would appear once we see some bigger price spikes. This brings us back to the first chart: is it realistic to see Hive's price going back to the 20 cents area?
Personally, I think this is exactly what will happen should the wider market sentiment allow it. If Hive is starting to show this upward rally, I will also start powering down some Hive since Hive normally crashes hard after some bigger gains. But for now, we wait.

Yet, look at what has come to pass. The whales, those who hold the greatest sway, have turned the shield into a weapon of mass suppression. They do not downvote to protect; they downvote to dominate. They create an atmosphere of fear where the creator hesitates to speak, fearing that a single misstep, a single unpopular truth, will summon the wrath of the oligarchy.
When the guardian becomes the predator, the flock must flee.
To build in such a place is to build on a fault line. It is to invest your soul in a garden where the owner holds the shears not to shape the hedge, but to decapitate the flowers that grow too tall or bloom in the wrong color.

II. The Call to New Grounds
Where, then, shall the builder go?
You must seek the lands where the soil is rich with freedom, not poisoned by fear. You must migrate to the platforms where the mechanism of suppression has been removed, where the only metric of success is the genuine appreciation of your peers.

In this older ground, the downvote remains, but it has not been twisted into a tool of systematic oppression. The culture there remembers the original intent: correction, not destruction. It is a place where the community self-regulates through dialogue, not through the brute force of coordinated downvoting cascades.
Build where the wind lifts you, not where the gale seeks to tear you down.
III. The Architecture of Freedom
Imagine a platform designed not for the convenience of the powerful, but for the dignity of the creator.
This is not a dream. It is a choice.
Every time you choose to build on a platform that respects your agency, you cast a vote for the future of the internet. Every time you refuse to tolerate the abuse of power, you strengthen the foundation of a free society.
Do not let the whales convince you that their oppression is necessary. Do not let them tell you that their downvotes are for your own good. The gardener who kills the seedling does not love the garden; he loves only his own control over it.
Epilogue: The Unchained Creator
The blockchain was born from a desire for freedom. It was forged in the fire of resistance against centralized control. Let us not forget that origin.
If the current chains of Hive have become heavy with the weight of abusive downvotes, then break them. Forge new links. Build new shores.

I think Hive will eventually recover and reach back to 20 cents area

Great analysis on HIVE! The chart structure shows a clear test of the major support line, and a breakout above that red downward trendline would definitely trigger solid bullish momentum. Looking forward to seeing how the price reacts near these key resistance levels. Thanks for sharing this update!
Until power spreads out I wouldn't look for any price improvement.
the whales on Upbit don't really care about that I think. They are still driving the price mainly. But yes, we do have a problem in that regard... (but so have many other chains)
In fact, just look what happened last night: over $30M in volume and 470M on Upbit alone... Do you think our little whales that are on chain matter in that scheme?
Yes, it's unfortunate that our price is sooo influenced by people in a country where pumping and dumping is apparently defacto legal.
But, as you can see by the inevitable dump, they aren't buying and holding.
It's simply manipulation of the price.

Si logramos romper eso, el salto a 20 céntimos parece plausible, aunque el mercado sigue tan volátil que literal podríamos ver una caída repentina.
