You will learn how to howl if you run with wolves. But you'll learn how to soar to great heights if you associate with eagles.

Your future ambition can only be accomplished when you smooth your path with noble friends.

Proverb says:

A mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really is shown by the kind of friends he chooses.

One simple truth about life is that you become like those with whom you associate with either positively or negatively.

The Bible has made it clear:

Evil communication corrupt good manners.

If you should flash back, almost all of our hurts are borne out of relationship with the wrong associates.
Your life only improves when you reduce your close relationship with some people.

Your mediocrity increases anytime you tolerate others mediocrity (Unknown).

Its better to be alone than with the wrong group of colleagues/friends.

One negative impact about wrong associates is that you'll always find yourself taking two steps forward and one step backward.
Choose your friends carefully. this old saying is apparently true:

If you lie with dogs, you'll definitely rise up with fleas.
