Lake Argyle Western Australia

Western Australia largest lake and the second largest in Australia, Lake Argyle is a beautiful place to explore. In dry season, it's a popular tourist attraction, many cruises and boating events are held on the Lake. This time we were here in the wet season and explored the back of the lake. We went down several tracks, the first one didn't get us to the back of the lake, but it was still interesting exploring and four wheel driving through station land and crossing the NT/WA boarder.

After awhile we finally made it to the Lake, a giant wet season storm loomed above it, the sound of thunder rolling in the distance, the smell of rain in the air, and the colours were absolutely stunning. It was the prefect atmosphere for photography. I was wishing I had a decent camera, but the phone still captured the beauty nicely.

Learning doesn't always happen at a desk, learning comes at all points in life.

Fun in the mud, we didn't hang around too long to see if that mud turned into water, it's very easy to get stuck in the Kimberley region once the rains start.

The older teaching the younger, even if there is only a few years between siblings, the younger kids learn so much of them.
