Recently I started this new hobby of mine ,its a small jungle inside a bottle with its own eco system.
Really helps to calm my mind .

If you close the bottle, Yes, To maintain the eco system you have to put small insects there.
But if you keep the bottle open then it’s not a must.
Sometimes it depends on on the plants you grow
